Real estate and Industrials led the drop in the market, as energy stocks saw the least change today.

General Market Review

Industrials

With continued restrictions due to the more contagious Covid strain spreading in the US, airlines are worried about travel demand. American Airlines was down 4% and Boeing fell 5% today.

Energy

Although oil prices fell today, energy stocks minimized losses. OPEC+ met to discuss raising oil production today, but some countries wanted to leave production as it is. ExxonMobil was up .63%.

Tech

Tesla added over 3% as the company delivered a record number of vehicles in the fourth quarter. Actual deliveries were just 450 vehicles short of Musk’s estimates. Most other tech stocks ended in the red today, with the Fab 5 down about 2%.
